ATTENTION ALL RECIPIENTS OF THE PURPLE HEART

A new project is underway for a search for all Coast Guard recipients of The Purple Heart.
This is a project of Health Services Work Life Service Center with HSCS Michael Aviles in charge. The project is to capture the names of all Coast Guard Purple Heart recipients of WWll and Vietnam for the purpose of The National Purple Heart Hall of Honor.
They are looking exclusively for Coast Guardsmen who have earned the medal during Coast Guard Service ( not from prior service other than Coast Guard ).
