Computers. Love 'em or hate 'em, they are here to stay!  There are some things we can do in our day to day operation of our computers to make our life easier.

My Computer is getting slower and slower in responding.

First try deleting your temporary internet files. Go to Internet Explorer, look across the top of the page and find the " Tools" button and click on it. At the bottom of the drop down menu you will see "Internet Options." Click on that. A box will appear that is basically divided into three parts. The middle part will be titled " Temporary Internet Files." There will be three buttons. Click on the first button titled "Delete Cookies." A new box will open asking you if you want to Delete all cookies Click "Ok"  Next go back to the middle portion of the big box and click on the "Delete Files button. The small box will open. This time there will also be a place to check on it. Click the box to put the check mark in it. Click "Ok" AGAIN go back to the "Delete Files" button in the middle and again click on it. This time DO NOT check the box just click ok. This operation will free up some space on your computer. Now click "Ok" at the bottom of the big box in front of you. Now Re start your computer. This operation is finished.

Is the problem in your Internet connection?

Before you go looking out on the web for help MAKE SURE that your problem IS NOT in your internet connection. Call your Internet Provider and tell them you have very slow connection speeds. They will give to step by step instructions and check their end of the operation. A word of caution here. It's all in the luck of the draw as far as who will answer the phone on the other end. In every company the people who answer go from dumb to dumber to great to OUTSTANDING. Don't be afraid to hang up on someone in the dumb or dumber class and try again.

Go to or call your hardware or software dealer. If you are not getting the answers you need from hardware and software dealers there are lots of web sites out there who are just waiting to help you.

On Line Help.

If you have a Microsoft System you may be able to get help from them. Again it is the luck of the draw. Try this link: microsoft.com
