MEMBERSHIP FORM
The Annual Dues calendar year runs from January 1st. through December 31st.
Dues … there are (3) three Levels:
Dues are to be paid with the submission of this application. Below are the current dues structures as voted upon by the Board of Directors in July 2005 and by the General Membership at the Annual Reunion in Portsmouth, VA in October 2005.
FULL MEMBERSHIP LEVEL; Annual Dues $25.00 per year.
USCG Lightship Sailor Veteran
The applicant certifies with this application that he is a Military Discharged USCG Veteran who served as part of the ships company on a commissioned Lightship of the U. S. Coast Guard.
LSA Member
Other USCG Veterans, family members, friends, and anyone that has an interest in Lightships, the men that sailed on them, Lightship history and its preservation.
Both of the above categories, USCG LS Vet and LSA Member, will pay the same $25.00 Dues and share the same responsibilities. This includes having the opportunity to be heard and vote on all matters that come before the general membership, be part of a committee, in addition can be nominated and voted onto a Board of Director position. There will be NO distinction between the two categories, other than their titles. Note: $5.00 from each $25.00 Dues Payment made is designated for Lightship Preservation.
GROUP / BUSINESS Member LEVEL; Annual Dues $50.00 per year.
Join as a Group or Business, limited to (1) one vote per Group / Business, pertaining to official business conducted during the General Membership Business Meeting.
LIFE MEMBER LEVEL; $300.00 … this is a one time, Life Time Fee
Any USCG Lightship Sailor Veteran or LSA member may purchase this Lifetime Member.
