Sunspot Sounds that KILL Communications

For any of you that operated radios you may have heard this at one time or another. It is the sound of a radiation shower arriving at Earth from a sun spot.

HF frequencies are most vulnerable but other frequencies can be affected if the shower is strong enough.

Listen to the whole thing as it does not last long.  This one is from January 1, 2013 on 7.23 Khz.
