People have been fascinated with this Lightship for the past 188 years. It is right and fitting that the last page of the Diamond Lightships history be used to show a modern day artists "pen and ink" picture of the Diamond Lightship 189. The picture was sent to us for use on our web site by the artist Brent Westwood who happens to be the Director of The Outer Banks Lighthouse Society.
