The Astoria Oregon Lions Club is welcoming Lightship Sailors to their City with a Salmon BBQ on Thursday evening October 7th at 6 P.M. Location of this event will be at our Hotel. We will be joined by The Mayor of Astoria The Honorable Willis Van Dusen will be making welcoming remarks at the beginning of this event.
If you are not interested in the Association Business Meeting you may go on the tour free of charge. Your Guest is also included in the tour if they choose to pay for it.
Also included in the price for you and a guest is the Museum tour and tour of the Lightship along with the Laying of the Wreath Ceremonies.
Every thing below is included in the price for you your Guest is also included if they choose to pay for it.
The Association is extremely lucky to have been able to book Linda McCune for our Reunion. Mrs. McCune is a preeminent speaker on the subject of Northwestern History.
Items on the menu include a wide choice of snack favorites.
Hot and iced coffee and tea and the worlds best Lightship Stories created by you for consumption of your listener. Your Guest is also included if they choose to pay for it.
Saturday Morning Bus Tour
The bus tour is included in the pricing for you. Your Guest is also included if they choose to pay for it.

NOTE: If you have a guest that will be going to the Banquet his/her charge for the Banquet meal will be $ 33.00.
Please register with us if you are going to be at the Banquet either as a Day Tripper, (someone who is coming to the reunion but is NOT a registered guest at the Hotel,) or if you will be a registered guest of the Hotel.

NOTE: The Reunion Committee understands that not all Lightship Sailors will be coming to the Reunion with a second person and in some cases the member will be paying for things they will not be getting. The extra money "built in," will be used to pay for Banquet meals for speakers, hotel room for one speaker, and other items that our speaking guests would like to attend, for instance the Commanding Officer of the Coast Guard Base (our speaker) may want to come to the Friday night event or the Thursday Evening Salmon BBQ, etc.

Finally if you wish to pay your annual dues or your dues for the first time on line you may do it below. In either case the dues are $ 15.00.
Final NOTE: ie: Legal Junk. We have all contracts signed for all events and functions. If anything is changed it will be because of flood, fire, act of God, hurricane or some such thing. As for the items mentioned (supra) Member Deb Dronic notes " Who's better at handling fire, flood or hurricane than the Coasties????? You'll need a better reason than that to make changes!" Of course she IS right and as an old Lightship Sailor I should have remembered that! Therefore I have taken the appropriate action (added the words Legal Junk) as learned in boot camp (pass the buck 101) and put the blame squarely on the shoulders of the lawyers who dream up such statements to make life difficult for everyone.
